Two lending companies on Mintos included in FT 1000 list

The Financial Times has recently published its sixth FT 1000 annual list of Europe’s fastest growing companies. And we’re happy to share that two lending companies that are active on Mintos are included this year.

Sun Finance, the only Latvian company on the list, has been included for the second year in a row. The company comes in at rank 30 overall, and rank 3 among fintechs.

“We have repeated a historic achievement. For the second year in a row, we have broken into the top of Europe's fastest-growing companies. Last year, we became the fastest-growing FinTech company in Europe. This year we were announced as the third most promising company in the industry. Usually, the top placements in the ranking are taken by newcomers, but we are breaking those standards. This success is not accidental. It reaffirms our successful strategy, investment in data science, and leadership in the markets represented. I would like to personally thank everyone in our energetic team for their work in making the company more recognizable and stronger internationally.”

ID Finance, the only Spanish fintech on the list, has been included for the fifth year in a row. The company comes in at rank 216 overall, and rank 13 among fintechs.

“Being included in the ranking once again by the Financial Times represents a further recognition of the good performance achieved by ID Finance during 2021. It had the best financial result of its history after a 7-fold increase of consolidated net profit up to €6M and a turnover that grew 40% up to €142M, thus consolidating ID Finance as one of the few profitable Fintechs in Spain and Mexico.”
